THE Cotswold Sewing School
Hello and a warm welcome to the Cotswold sewing school. I’m Louise, busy mum to two boys.
I began to sew small projects during a difficult personal time in my life. Sewing transported me to a different reality and quickly became a therapy. After a few months I decided to take the plunge and retrain as a specialist soft furnishing maker. Having a career over 15 years revolving around the property industry I’ve always had a passion for transforming interiors.
About me
I’m now genuinely living my dream, working around my children’s diaries and needs. I want to help you develop your love for sewing too.
After qualifying I set up my own limited company making soft furnishings. Although I now have a professional workroom, Initially I didn’t have the budget for a workspace so everything was made on my kitchen table or lounge floor.
How I can help
I understand many will not have a ready-made work room available. I will help you adapt to the space you have. Anyone can do this and everyone has creativity inside them. I have worked hard to create a safe spacious environment where you can really relax whilst acquiring new skills. Alongside working with my private clients I am excited to also offer sewing tuition.
